Traditional Home Gets Modern Touches. We reclaimed the unused attic space to add a custom-designed closet with ample hanging storage, a dressing table, and a new window to bring in natural light and create an inviting place to start the day, an upstairs laundry room with a coffee station, and additional storage for luggage and other miscellaneous items. We upgraded the bathroom by replacing a solid framed wall with glass to open the shower space and replaced the cultured marble spa tub with a Victoria + Albert freestanding tub, two custom vanities with Calacatta marble tops, and lighting from Visual Comfort. In the master bedroom, we combined the original his and her closets into one better designed space. But we didn’t neglect the first floor, where we replaced the original door and transom combinations with more modern three-panel eight-foot doors.
Beautiful Peachtree Battle Residence. This home started out with a functional carport and a minimum of five steps to gain access to the home. When the home was purchased by the current owner, we looked at ways to accommodate aging in place. This led to an attached garage - affording security and better protection from the elements, along with the ability to add a three-stop elevator. The primary suite has a curb less shower and ample room in the water closet if an attendant is ever needed. The rest of the home was updated as well.
Buckhead Addition. A traditional brick house is now a home of distinction with the addition of a two-car garage with great room above, topped by a master bedroom suite and master bath. All is connected by a day-lit hardwood rear stair. New french doors, a wrap around deck and metal shed roofs visually tie the addition to the original house.
French-Style Home. Substantial stylistic updates paired with a major two-story expansion bring this French-style home into the modern age. Architectural elements such as dark "flying" timbers, a cobblestone fireplace and specialty windows are made exclusively of high-performance, top-grade materials.
Buckhead Second Floor. This charming home was enlarged and expanded upward to accommodate the homeowner's growing family. The renovation includes a home office, a library, a versatile family bath with spa and two extra bedrooms.
